Contest Details

Depending on where you are, judging season is either over or in the peak of practice season. Use what you've learned this year to compete with contestants from across the nation in the first ever online livestock judging contest and earn your club or chapter a share of $2,000 in cash prizes.

Contestants will judge two classes (market steers and one other) and upload a video of themselves judging the class. The top six contestants from the first round will compete in the final round with one more class.

Officials

Former nationally competetive collegiate judging team members.

Eligibility

Open to any FFA or 4-H student in the United States. Contestants must be not complete high school before August 2019.

Due to the fact all entries will include video of the contestant in this contest, all contestants will be required to fill out a parental consent form and upload it in the online entry page.

Prizes

$2,000 in cash prizes to be awarded to the chapters and judging clubs of the winning contestants. Cash prizes will not be paid directly to any individual contestant.

Instructions

Step 1 - Judge the following two classes and submit your placing online.

Step 2 – The option to upload your reasons video will show up once you placed the class. Upload a video of you judging the class to Youtube (make it unlisted) or other social media and add the URL of the video to your entry.
