Contest Details
The 2020 Southeast Kansas Horse CDE will be held virtually on Wednesday, October 14th starting at 9am and ending at Noon. Reasons can be uploaded until 3:00pm.

Classes:

1. Halter Classes

a. 4 classes @ 50 points each (Total of 200 pts.)

2. Performance Classes

a. 4 classes @ 50 points each (Total of 200 pts.)

b. Performance classes will be Hunt Seat Equitation, Reining, Trail and

Western Riding

3. Questions (A & B team)

a. 1 set on Halter Class @ 50 points

b. 1 set on Performance Class @ 50 points (Total of 100 pts.)

4. Reasons (A team only)

a. 1 set on Performance Class @ 50 points (Total 50 pts.)
Officials
The official this year is NEO A & M Horse Judging coach Mr. Kevin Pool.
Eligibility
Each school will be allowed one “A” and one “B” team, with up to six members per team. Each team will be given a team score, which will be determined by adding the three best individual scores for that team. This year we will allow unlimited extras, they will judge the classes only.
Prizes
Plaques will be awarded to the top 3 A and B teams at the CDE.

Medals will be awarded to the top 10 individuals in the “A” and “B” team categories.

The “A” team with the highest combined reasons score will be awarded a plaque. The scores used to determine this score will be those of the three individuals that were used to determine the team score.
