Livestockjudging.com is hosting the Texas State Invitational on May 2nd from 7AM until 12PM. You are receiving this e-mail because your chapter meets the requirement to enter, you competed at the area level in 2019.

This IS NOT an officially sanctioned FFA event, but it will be run in a manner that follows the FFA format as closely as possible.

7 Placing Classes (50 points each)
3 Keep/Cull (50 points each)
1 Feeder Cattle Grading (50 points each)
1 Slaughter Cattle Grading (50 points each)
25 question quiz (2 points each)
3 questions classes (5 points each)

Due to current restrictions on filming, several classes will be formed with animals already used in classes on Livestockjudging.com. In those situations, multiple classes will be ‘broken up’ and new classes will be formed with them.

Our pool of current and former collegiate judging team members as well as various graders throughout the state of Texas.

Open to any current FFA member in the state of Texas.

Entry is free.

Individual Awards

Top ten individuals will receive plaques that will be given to ag teachers at the VATAT convention if it happens or by mail if it does not.

Team Awards
Chapters may enter as many students as they wish but only the top three from each chapter will be used in the tabulation of team awards.

Top ten teams will be awarded plaques or banners to be handed out at the VATAT conference if it happens or by mail if it does not.

Entry will open Monday, April 20th.

1. All students that choose to participate will need a free Livestockjudging.com account. Any current account may be used as well.
2. Go to Livestockjudging.com and click the link to the “Texas State Invitational” on the front page of the site or go to “Contests > Texas State Invitational” from the top navigation bar.
3. Click “Enter Contest”
4. Enter the code sent out April 17th in the “Contest Code” box
5. Select your school from the drop down menu
