#3 – Best bloom quality. The plant is showing good leaf color and a uniform growth habit. It is balanced in the pot with insignificant leaf damage. It is the most desirable for immediate sale at this time, with a dense growth habit. Medium-sized plant, centered in the pot.
#4 – Good bloom quality. The growth habit is less balanced, with blooms more on one side of the plant. There is slight leaf discoloration (yellowing at the base). Medium-sized plant, not ideally centered in the pot, and leans slightly.
#2 – Fair bloom quality that is one-sided, which diminishes the balance of the plant. It has buds for future color. The plant has good leaf color, but the growth habit is not ideally balanced in the pot. Insignificant leaf damage. Larger plant with slight discoloration at the base (yellowing).
#1 – Poor bloom quality. Blooms are uniform but few in number, with some buds for future blooms. Some leaf damage present. The plant is balanced in the pot with slight leaf discoloration (yellowing). Least desirable for immediate sale at this time, with the least amount of bloom color.
